What is Telangana State Housing Corporation Limited

TSHCL aims to bring dignity to each and every Below Poverty Line (BPL) family by assisting them, both financially as well as technically, for construction of Permanent (Pucca) Houses.

In 1977, a severe cyclonic storm hit two coastal districts. Then several people became shelter less because of the cyclone. 

The the Government decided to formulate Housing Corporation in 1979 to build permanent / pucca houses to poor people. It came in to the picture in 1979 itself.

Telangana Housing Scheme From Year 2014

2014 is Memorable Year for Telangana people. Why because 2nd June 2014 is a Telangana formation day.

After forming the Government by the TRS Party, the Government announced the flagship scheme. That is Double Bedroom Housing Scheme.

Double Bedroom Housing Scheme in Chennur Constituency Mancherial District:

The Government of Telangana, Housing Department issued a new Memo regarding 2BHK Housing Scheme - Chennur Constituency. The new proposal document issued on 13th August 2019 officially.

This is very good news for Chennur Constituency poor people. The Telangana Government is sanctioning additional 1.53 Crores to build double bedroom houses.

2BHK (Double Bedroom) Housing Scheme in Chennur

The revised double bedroom proposal is for change of allocation between Rural and Urban in Chennur Constituency.

Memo No 767/RH&C.A1/2019-1 Dated 13.08.2019

The Telangana Government ( Smt. Chitra Ramachandran - Special Chief Secretary to Government) ) issued a Letter / Order to the Mancherial Collector as below.

"The attention of the District Collector, Mancherial is Invited to the reference 2nd cited, Government hereby accord permissions to change of allocation as Rural (100) and Urban (1146) 2BHK houses in Chennur Constituency at an additional project cost of Rs 1.53 Crores.

The District collector Mancherial is requested to take necessary action immediately in the above matter.

Today we are here to inform about all the information regarding 2BHK / Double bedroom scheme. As you know that Telangana double bedroom scheme is one of the best schemes amongst all the Telangana Government schemes.

Why Telangana Housing Scheme Arrives?

The Telangana double bedroom scheme started in October 2015. The objective of the housing scheme is to provide dignity to the poor by providing 100% free housing. This is not like the scheme of previous scheme namely indiramma illu pathakam. The beneficiary of this scheme is avail the benefit directly without an agent. The amount will be credited directly to the beneficiary's bank account.   

Nothing is to be borne by the beneficiary. It is a totally free scheme.

In Rural places: 

Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe 50%

Minorities: 7%

Balance: 43% 

In Urban Places:

Scheduled Caste: 17%
Scheduled Tribe 6%
Minorities: 12%

Process for Selection of Beneficiaries.

• As per the Government Order; the District level officers committee select the villages.
• The district collector schedules the time for 2BHK applications from the eligible villagers.
• The applications will be collected by the Grama Sabha designated officer. 
• The primary data collected at Grama Sabha officer and will send the data to the Tahasildar office to verification purpose.
• After the verification getting done; the Tahasildar will send the finalized data to the District Collector office.
• As per the schedule of the District collector; The Tahasildar again send details to Grama Sabha for final approval.
• The list which is finalized by the Grama Sabha; will be approved by the Collector. Finally, the data will be available to the public. If any issues, complains the district level officer will enquire; After enquiry; the result which decided by the district level nominated committee is the FINAL one.
