Telangana Aasara Pension Scheme Details
TS Aasara Pension Scheme was launched in the year 2014 to provide financial aid to the eligible people like Widows, Old age persons, People with HIV-AIDS, Toddy tappers and Incapacitated weavers etc. Telangana Aasara Scheme pension amount vary year by year as per the Government orders.

Aasara Pension Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility Criteria - Old Age
- The age should be 57 and above (Previously it was 65, but reduced to 57 now)
- The applicant should from Premitive and Vulnerable Tribal Groups
- Only one person from family allow to avail Aasara pension.
- Women is preferable
- Landless agriculture labourers, rural artisans, craftsmen slum dwellers, persons earnings daily in the informal sectors like porters, coolies, rickshaw pullers, hand card pullers, fruit or flower sellers, snake charmers, rag pickers, cobblers, destitute and other similar categories.
- Homeless households residing in temporary renting houses or in Huts
Eligibility Criteria for Widows
- To avail Aasara pension, the widow age should be 18 and above
- She should be from Primitve and Vulnerable Tribal Groups
- Women headed family with no other earning option
- Only the Widow can get the pension in family
Eligibility Criteria for Toddy Tappers
- To avail Telangana Aasara Pension, the age should be 50 and above for Toddy tappers.
- Primitive and Vulnerable Tribal Groups
- Only one person is eligible in family
- By profession, the person should be from Toddy Tapping
Incapacitated Weavers
- Age criteria for Weavers is 50 and above to get Aasara Pension
- Primitive and Vulnerable Tribal Group
- Only one person in family is eligible
- By profession, a person should be in weaving
Eligibility for Disabled Person
- There is No age limit for disabled persons to get Aasara pension
- Primitive and Vulnerable Tribal Groups
- Minimum disable should be 51% in case of Hearing Impaired
Aasara Pension Amount
The Telangana Goverment revised Aasara Pension amount in 2019. The pensioners are given pension amount as per the revised notification.

How To Apply for Aasara Pension Offline
You can apply for Aasara pension scheme in Telangana in two ways. Offline as well as Online.
- Download the Aasara Pension Application Form
- If you don't know how to download, go to meeseva centre and ask them to provide you
- Fill the complete form Name, Address, Family details etc
- Attach the documents which mentioned above
- Submit your duly filled application form to Gram Panchayat Secretary or Village Revenue Officer (VRO)
- If you stay in Urban area, you have to submit it to Bill Collector

Step 3: Click on "Pension Application" as shown above. Once you click on it you will be redirected to new window of Aasara online application form.
Step 4: Fill all the details like Name, Aadhar, Address, Caste, Bank details etc. Also upload all the supporting documents like Aadhar card scan copy, Food Security Card scan copy, Bank Passbook scan copy, Self declaration etc.

Yes You can search Aasara Pension beneficiary list online. You can check in two ways

Through Your Municipality Website
Step 1: Go to your Municipality Website
Step 2: As shown above, Click on Pension Application
Step 3: Click on Search Application Status
Step 4: Enter your Application number on field and click on :Search Application Status. Your status of Aasara pension application will show on screen
Through Your AASARA Pension Website
Note: If your application accepted, then only your details appear here
Step 1: Go to Aasara Pension Online Portal
Step 2: On "Quick Search" tab, you will see "Search Pensioner Details". Click on it
Step 3: Once click on Search Pensioner Details, you will see a new window to enter your Pension ID. If you don't have right now, you can search by location by entering your District, Mandal, Panchayat and Your Name
Your pension details will appear like Pension amount, when your pension started etc.
