To alleviate financial distress of SC/ST and Minority families, The Telangana Government decided to sanction a one time financial assistance at the time of marriage for Brides who are residents of Telangana State.The Kalyana Lakshi and Shaadi Mubarak schemes have been introduced in 2014 for unmarried girls who have completed 18 years at the time of Marriage.
Kalyana Lakshmi Amount
The Government is providing very good financial assistance to the low income families. When the Kalyana Lakshmi started in 2014, the amount of financial help was 51,000 only.It is revised two times as of now. in the Year 2020, unmarried womens are getting 1,00,116/- as financial assistance.
