Today we are here to inform about all the information regarding 2BHK / Double bedroom scheme. As you know that Telangana double bedroom scheme is one of the best schemes amongst all the Telangana Government schemes.

Why Telangana Housing Scheme Arrives?

The Telangana double bedroom scheme started in October 2015. The objective of the housing scheme is to provide dignity to the poor by providing 100% free housing. This is not like the scheme of previous scheme namely indiramma illu pathakam. The beneficiary of this scheme is avail the benefit directly without an agent. The amount will be credited directly to the beneficiary's bank account.   

Nothing is to be borne by the beneficiary. It is a totally free scheme.

Reservation under Double bedroom Scheme in Telangana

In Rural places: 

Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe 50%

Minorities: 7%

Balance: 43% 

In Urban Places:

Scheduled Caste: 17%
Scheduled Tribe 6%
Minorities: 12%
Balance: 65%

Process for Selection of Beneficiaries.

• As per the Government Order; the District level officers committee select the villages.
• The district collector schedules the time for 2BHK applications from the eligible villagers.
• The applications will be collected by the Grama Sabha designated officer. 
• The primary data collected at Grama Sabha officer and will send the data to the Tahasildar office to verification purpose.
• After the verification getting done; the Tahasildar will send the finalized data to the District Collector office.
• As per the schedule of the District collector; The Tahasildar again send details to Grama Sabha for final approval.
• The list which is finalized by the Grama Sabha; will be approved by the Collector. Finally, the data will be available to the public. If any issues, complains the district level officer will enquire; After enquiry; the result which decided by the district level nominated committee is the FINAL one.

Khammam Double Bedroom Scheme : 5000 Houses Sanctioned

Khammam 2BHK Housing scheme: This is a new update and happy news for Khammam corporation residents poor people. The Telangana Government has issued the official notification to building double bedroom houses in Khammam Corporation areas.

The Telangana Government Special Chief secretary Mrs. Chitra Ramchandran said in the order that the attention of the district collector, Khammam district is invited to the references cited, and it is informed that after careful examination Government hereby sanction of 5000 2BHK Houses (with a project of 265 crores ) to the Khammam corporation of colonies as assured by the Hon'ble Chief Minister 

Further; The officer ordered the Khammam collector, to take necessary action on the above matter.

Double Bedroom Housing Scheme - 2% Reservation for Ex-Servicemen and Widows of Ex-Servicemen

Double Bedroom Housing Scheme: The new notification of The Telangana Government is keeping happiness in Poor people especially Ex-Servicemen and Widows of Ex-Servicemen families.

The notification released officially on the point of reservation in Telangana Double Bedroom Scheme on dated 15.06.2018.

Any Reservation for Telangana Double Bedroom Scheme?

Yes.

There is a reservation for Ex-Servicemen and Widows of ex-Servicemen. As per the notification; they said that " After careful examination of the proposal of the Home Department, Government hereby agree to provide 2% reservation for Ex-Servicemen and Widows of Ex-Servicemen in overall reservations in Housing Schemes being constructed for weaker section of the society subject to fulfillment of all other conditions prescribed from time to time."

So if you comes under this category it is applicable for you.

2BHK Housing Scheme Eligibilities - Who Can Apply for Double Bedroom Scheme  

• The applicant family (Who is applying for Telangana double bedroom scheme) should be BPL (Below Poverty Line) that means poor. 
• The people do not have the house or who are living in HUTS can apply.
• The people who are staying in a Rented house due to NO own house.
• The applicants have a valid Food Security Card
• The applicants should a resident of Telangana only.
• No one in the family should have already sanctioned a house anywhere in the district in Urban or Rural. 
• Only one 2BHK per family
